Rigid Track
This Tether Track Fold Away System provides workers with a fixed path of rigid track fall protection when the arms are fully extended. Standard arm reach distances span up to 30’. There are unlimited track lengths with up to 50’ between supports.
The enclosed track design, engineered for easy movement, allows the trolley to move smoothly and remain centered directly over your worker. This enclosed track design decreases the possibility of dirt and dust settling on the rolling surface of the cold-rolled steel track. The 2-degree taper of the track keeps the trolley centered. Tracks can accommodate one or more workers. A dual bypassing track allows workers to safely pass each other without disconnecting. You have the option of single, dual, or multiple tracks for one, two, or multiple workers.
Units can be finished in stainless steel, galvanized steel, or special finishes are available for your application requirements. When the system is not in use, the track and arms can be folded against their support columns. It easily folds away for fall protection that will not interfere with overhead cranes.
Wall Mount, Column Mount, or Free Standing Design
Choose from wall/column mount or free standing designs. This system is also available in wall cantilever or wall bracket configurations, depending on headroom constraints.
Standard Wall Mount System Includes: Arm(s), Tether Track, Tether Trolley(s) and all necessary mounting hardware.
Free Standing System Includes: Arm(s), Tether Track, Tether Trolley(s), free standing mast assembly and all necessary mounting hardware.
A multi-position infinitely variable friction brake for system positioning or motorized rotation is available.
Designed to Provide Protection for Workers
Tether Track Fall Protection Systems are designed for workers up to 310 lbs with tools when used with 900 lbs Maximum Arresting Force (MAF) energy absorbing lanyards, properly rated full body harnesses and a connecting device.
When used with a retractable lifeline and full body harness, users can travel up to 30 degrees off-center of the track. Single or multiple workers can easily bypass each other without disconnecting when using the dual bypass track.
OSHA and ANSI Compliance
If your workers work at heights of four feet or more in general industry, fall protection is needed. But sometimes passive fall restraint is not practical for your application. Our Tether Track Fold Away rigid rail fall arrest system provides fall protection and safety when your workers need it and space when the system is not in use.
